Voice of America interview (in Russian)
A journalist from Voice of America interviewed Joe after the Lincoln Center screening (in English), and his article is available in Russian on the Voice of America web site. No one on the production team is fluent in Russian, but Joe remembers the interview as having been a good done. If anyone out there wants to polish up their Russian, here’s an unusual opportunity. We can only wonder what the VOA spin on “Kansas?” would have been in the good ol’ days of the Cold War….
Reflecting on our Lincoln Center debut
Last Thursday “What’s the Matter with Kansas?” enjoyed its World Premiere screening at Film Society of Lincoln Center in New York. It’s taken this long for Laura and Joe and Milo to return home (okay, so we had some fun over the weekend running around Manhattan and taking in museums, etc.) and recover enough energy to properly reflect on a very exciting evening for us. New York Premiere coming up – Thursday, Aug 6, 2009
We’re busy packing our bags for a visit to New York City to have our first major public screening of “What’s the Matter with Kansas?” at the Film Society of Lincoln Center on Thursday, August 6, 2009. The screening is part of Lincoln Center’s prestigious Independents Night series. (…)
