Kansas City screenings begin Friday, March 12, 2010

What’s the Matter with Kansas?” will open in Tom Frank’s home town on Friday, March 12, 2010, playing for a full week at the lovely Tivoli Cinemas.

Thomas Frank and director Joe Winston will appear on opening night to take questions from the audience.  Tom will sign books as well.  Joe will return for the Saturday night screenings.

Several area organizations are serving as screening sponsors for the opening weekend, Friday, March 12 through Sunday, March 14, including The Heartland Labor Forum, 90.1 FM KKFI, The Mainstream Coalition, The Greater Kansas City Political Women’s Caucus and the ACLU of Kansas and Western Missouri.

Advance tickets available on the Tivoli Cinemas web site.  We recommend buying tickets in advance, especially for the opening weekend.
