Here’s a video – really an expanded scene from “What’s the Matter with Kansas?” – which gives some background on Dr. Tiller, his clinic, and his significance to the abortion issue and its reverberations into American politics.  The Pro-Life movement made his clinic the focus of protests which, in 1991, sparked a conservative takeover of the Kansas Republican Party.
